Transitioning into college both exciting and challenging.

Making the transition from high school to college or from the world of work to college can be both exciting and challenging!

If you need to improve your math and writing skills, the College has teamed up with Mason-Lake Adult Education to offer math and writing skills review courses to assist you in making the transition to college a little easier.

To determine where you may need help, WSCC will administer the COMPASS placement test which assesses basic writing, reading, and mathematics skills. Results are used to determine course placement in the areas of English, reading, and math.

Currently, the writing skills course is offered on the campus while the math course is offered at Mason County Central Schools.

For more information about either of these courses, contact call Liz Stark at MCC at 231-757-3713, ext. 133.
