West Shore Community College’s Financial Aid Office is accepting scholarship applications from students who plan to attend for the 2017-18 academic year.
The deadline to apply for scholarships is March 3.
The college, the WSCC Foundation, community groups and private donors offer numerous scholarships to fit nearly all student academic records, backgrounds, and financial situations.
WSCC’s website lists many of the scholarships and gives a brief description and the general eligibility requirements for each.
The information can be reviewed online or current student tabs or in the student’s portal (my.westshore.edu) by selecting the student tab, then myScholarship link.
A WSCC admission application must be completed to be eligible for scholarships.
To qualify for a need based scholarship, an applicant must complete the 2017–18 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at www.fafsa.gov.
For more information on applying to the college or financial aid information, call the Financial Aid Office at 231-843-5518 or visit the office located in the Schoenherr Campus Center.
