Dust off your leather jackets and get ready to pull on your bobby socks with Rydell High’s senior class of 1959.
This fall, “Grease,” the musical, will run for three weekends as a part of West Shore Community College’s 2017-2018 Performing Arts Series.
“Grease” follows love-struck bad-boy Danny and girl-next-door Sandy in a thrilling injection of pure fun with astounding dancing and amazing songs. It’s the beloved rock n’ roll celebration of teen angst, fast cars, and first loves all set in the fabulous 50s.
This all-new production will feature the irresistible songs from the Tony Award nominated Broadway show and hit movie, including, “You’re the One That I Want,” “Grease is the Word,” “Summer Nights,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “Greased Lightnin’,” and many more.
The audition date is August 20, at 7 p.m. in WSCC’s Center Stage Theater.
“Grease” will run in the Center Stage Theater on October 27, 28, November 3, 4, 10, and 11 at 7:30 p.m. and October 29, November 5 and 12 at 2 p.m.
